We respect those who believe that turning off their lights one hour and supposedly "help" the planet supposedly because "it saves electricity" (forgetting that when they return to turn on their lights and other electric power consumption will suddenly waaaay too hard, similar to If tubes or fluorescent lamps that consume much energy moment is precisely when on but not in full use.)

One would ask the government (assuming these should respect the will of the people and that's democracy) or even require politicians to the standards, "ISOs" and other rules that apply in the work of factories and industries should be so that those end products manufactured are of long duration (such as it was decades ago and if not ask your grandfather or a neighbor who turn 45 years).

Well, I leave you, if you want to turn off their headlights do it but that little help to save energy, even worse, without realizing it can be in use at a distance for thieves to steal your energy and things to do with it and you can not imagine is likely to be unpleasant.
For my part I will use electricity as usual, without wasting but do I have to be deprived of electricity use to facilitate the quality of life.
